Ministers of Holy Communion

Ministers of Holy Communion give out communion during Mass and take it to people too ill to attend Mass or housebound. As communion of both species is given out at Mass a considerable number of ministers are needed. Each year, at Mass on the feast of Corpus Christi, the Ministers of Holy Communion commit themselves again to this work.
