Christ the King 22 November 21
The Catholic Bishops of England and Wales have issued a statement on safeguarding after their plenary meeting (16-19 Nov) held during the past week.
You are encouraged to read the statement on their web site here.
Our Zoom Masses are posted here after Mass.
How will we keep Sunday holy?
Although at present we cannot gather in our church our we can unite in prayer in our homes.
We might do this by joining in with the prayers and responses of a streamed Mass.
Or, we might have a service of the Word within our household. For a prayer leaflet to help us when Mass cannot be celebrated publicly click here.
Find the Hallam News here.
Welcome to St. William's, a suburban Catholic Parish in the Diocese of Hallam, situated in the south-west of Sheffield in South Yorkshire. In addition to providing information, we hope these pages give an impression of our church and parish: what makes us tick, what makes us unique, how we live our Christian lives.

DR19 Thurs - Fri 7-8 Feb
Fr John and six parishioners attended the two day Divine Renovation 19 conference. it was challenging, stimulating and, sometimes, noisy, with maybe 400 participants including at least sixty priests and four bishops.
The basic aim of the conference was to encourage parishes to have a stonger and much more explicit focus on bringing people to Jesus (on 'fishing', in the language of this Sunday's gospel). Curious?
